The original Sundowners Restaurant owners recognized that there was a large segment of the population that were being ignored by the large corporate restaurant companies. They knew there was a better way. After much trial and error, the Sundowners System was born. The system was ahead of its time, offering a wide variety of menu options at a price hard working families could afford. Quality standards were to be maintained without exception, ensuring that soups, salads, and sauces were prepared fresh daily to uphold freshness and excellence.

We believe that business has the responsibility to encourage and lift people by offering opportunities for personal growth and development. Along the way we discovered that helping our dedicated staff to not only have a great job serving our customers, but we were also able to help them improve their lives by offering training and advancement programs which changes lives for generations. Several of the people that work at Sundowners Family Restaurants have been here for more the two or three decades. Some starting with a job as a service assistant to develop a career as an important part of the management team. They continue to demonstrate their commitment to the Sundowners System by providing the best possible service to our customers.
